Amazing hack: Repair damage hair with papaya

It’s your hair damage, dry and dull?

On today’s post, I’m going to share with you how to repair your damage hair at home with a natural hair mask that only requires 3 ingredients.

Every day we damage our hair with the excessing use of chemicals like bleaching the hair, dying it, sprays, gels; the use of heat from the flat iron, curler, hair dryer etc. This also causes the scalp to stop producing oil that helps hydrate the hair. Thus, we end up with dry hair, split ends, and tangled hair.

Luckily for us there are great hair masks that help repair all the damage so we can have a silky shiny and healthy hair, and we only need 3 ingredients:

1 cup of papaya
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
1 tablespoon of honey

Cut the papaya in small pieces, don’t forget to peel of the skin and remove the seeds. Put the papaya on a blender and ad the coconut oil and the honey. Blend it well until all the papaya its smashed and has a creamy consistency. Make sure there are not big pieces of papaya, you don’t want a huge piece of papaya in your hair.

Once the mixture is ready place it in a bowl, wet your hair and apply the mixture starting in the middle of your hair all the way down to the ends, try to apply most of the mixture on the ends since they tend to be the more damage ones. If you have bleached hair apply the mixture in all the hair starting at the root. Leave it for 30 minutes and wash it off. Wash your hair as your normaly do it.

You will see the results from the first application, your hair will be soft and silky and wont tangled as much as it used to. Apply this mask once a week if your hair is too damage or once a month if you only want to prevent the damage specially if you bleach or dye your hair.

Another hair mask that it’s great for hydrating dry hair is an avocado mask.

Have You ever wonder why you lose hair? every time you shower or brush your hair you lose that much you begin to imagine by the time you are 30 will be completely bald?

Do not worry that's not going to happen, the truth Is, this is completely normal that we lose hair to in the shower, when we brush it, seen it all over the floor around the house it’s something woman are used to, but moving along with the post I’ll explain why we suffer from hair loss.

The hair has a cycle that is called hair cycle, the follicles each one of them has its own cycle and this cycle can stop any time losing its thickness and end with the hair falling. 

This cycle it’s also affected by the frequent use of shampoo, heat, chemicals, bleach, hair spray etc. Everything affects it. Even though your products claim to be 100% organic remember everything use in excess can affect you even water.

So its normal to lose some hair every day, but if you notice that suddenly its increasing for no reason at all then you have to pay attention to find out what’s happening, it could be a side effect of:

stress: being under lots of stress and pressure can cause hair loss and also affect our entire system.

. Poor diet or bad nutrition: a poor diet is reflected in our entire body specially on the skin and hair it causes hair loss and makes it look dry and dull.

. excess use of chemicals: over using heat and chemicals by dying the hair frequently literally kills the hair and makes you lose hair faster, also if you tie it too strong or pull it while brushing it will rip your hair right away.

 If you feel like you can’t leave without a hairdryer ty using it on cool air instead of hot and don’t leave it for too long in just one place, try to move it in circles to cover most of the head so you can finish faster and place it not so close to the head. 

. Medicine: there are some treatments that can cause the follicle to die fast which causes hair loss as chemotherapy, if you are taking pills or having a treatment ask your doctor for the possible side effects.

. Hormones disorders: if you are pregnant or have a hormone disorder or your Thyroid isn’t working the way its suppose to this can also cause hair loss, but don’t worry once the pregnancy its over or you start controlling your hormones it will stop. 

Now that we know some of the reasons why our hair could be falling from our heads let’s see some solutions for it, this of course are homemade remedies for the most typical causes.

Oils massage: Massaging the head improves the blood flow on the follicles making them stronger in the roots and the oils help to hydrate the scalp preventing it from getting dry and itching.

You can do this 2 different ways:

1.- make a mix of different oils I personally like: coconut oil, almond oil, olive oil. Put them in a bowl and heat it for a couple seconds till all the oils are mixed let it cool for a bit. It has to be warm so you can put it on your head and massage the scalp with this mix. Do it gently.

2. use any oil you like you don’t have to heat this one and simply massage the scalp with it. Remember don’t use a lot of it 

you can do this 2 times a week 

Beet juice: 

The beet helps to stop the hair from falling and helps it for a healthy grow because it has carbohydrates, protein, potassium, vitamins B and C, calcium and phosphorus that helps to keep a healthy and strong hair.

You can use this 2 different ways:

1.- cook some beet and smash them until you make a paste, put it on your scalp for 20 minutes and rinse. Keep in mind this could dye your hair.

2.- just include more beet or beet juice on your daily diet.

Avoid stress

I know this seems impossible! It it’s important to be stress free as much as you can not only to avoid hair loss but to have a better quality life.

 Remove all the negative thought in your mind that will help you to stay calm, try different activities like yoga, Pilates, running or kickboxing anything that can distract you from all the work and house issues and also will help you get rid of all the frustration. 

Go to a spa or have a spa day at home just forget about everything and everyone and pamper yourself you deserve it!

Use products that are right for your hair: 

There are many product and treatments to prevent or solve the hair lose problems can be shampoos, oils, creams, masks. Just make sure that’s the right one for your hair and has the less chemicals. 

I used this organix coconut milk shampoo it did help me to stop it, this isn’t a made for hair loss but since its organic it helps may hair to recover from all the chemicals.

Hello! in todays post im giving you a list of bad habits that we usually do on our rutine that damage our hair.

Maintaining a  healthy hair seems to be impossible and very expensive, but it really isnt!

You dont need to buy  expensive products or go every week to the salon, all you have to do is avoid these habits that are the enemies of a shiny and healthy hair.

Although most of these habits are our daily routine and sounds crazy to stop doing them, we can begin to reduce the frequency with which we do them.

1. hot baths: Hot water opens the pores, leaving the hair dehydrated  fragile and brittle, it is best to wash it with cold water.

2. washing excessively or  not washing the hair: Washing your hair removes  natural oils that are produce to stay healthy and dries the scalp. Not washing it  clogged the pores and do not allow the hair growth. Ideally is best to wash every two days or everyother day.

3.- The use of flat irons, blow dryers, curling irons: The constant application of direct heat to the hair  burns it leaving it weak; it is best to avoid using it often and if it is difficult to stop using them as the dryer us it in cold temperature and with a protective spray.

4. Poor diet: Having a poor diet is reflected not only in our skin, but also in our hair because we do not consume protein and vitamins that the  hair needs, it tends to look dull and may even start to fall.

5. Combing wet hair or tie it: The worst mistake we make is  combing wet hair, when the hair is wet is too brittle and may break more easily.

If you tie it when is wet, will not allow the hair  to dry completely and eventually can cause it to fall.
6. Using a lot of hair products: the constant use of gel, hairspray can cause clogged pores, plus mostof them contain alcohol that damage and dries the hair. Try not to use them as often and let your hair breathe.

7. tighten much: tightening the hair whencan break it  since you're forcing to stretch more. You will only contribuit to a premature hair loss.

8. Dye it:  the chemicals that are in the  hair dyes , dried and weakens the hair root. If you like to dye your hair try not to change the color as often to give it time  to recover.

Do You have problems with your hair? Do you have dry hair? Have you tried everything and do not know what to do?

Do not worry because I'll teach you to do a simple mask that will help your hair get hydrated, shiny and look more alive and the best is that you only need 3 ingredients you'll find in your kitchen !!

You need:
1 avocado
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon of olive oil


With a spoon  crushe the avocado, if your hair is very long you might need a full   avocado; when is well crushed add the egg yolk and a tablespoon of olive oil and mix it well. Remember that this will have athick consistency because  of the avocado but it is important that there are no large pieces of avocado.

Pour the mixture over the entire hair, from root to tips, do not forget to gently massage the scalp. You can cover it with a shower cap.
Leave it on for 20 minutes, wash your hair as you normally would.

The avocado is rich in vitamins that will help nourish the hair.   Contains  fatty acids that will moisture the hair leaving it Silky shiny and manageable

I have been trying to find a shampoo with fewer chemicals,  that will let me hair soft, not stiff as happens with many brands and above all to help me stop hair from falling , I found this shampoo and conditioner brand ORGANIX.

It is not a new brand, it has been on the marketfor a while now, but I have a few months using the shampoo and conditioner and I am very happy with them.
This brand says its using natural products such as coconut oil, argan oil and its sulfate free.

The sulfate is a compound that helps clean, dissolves dirt and body oils as well as foam, the problem is that it dries the hair and the scalp as it removes the natural oils from the body.

This shampoo and conditioner that I liked best is the coconut milk and contains a mixture of coconut milk, protein beaten egg white and light coconut oil, which restores strength, hydration, elasticity and brightness .

Plus itsmells so good, but not very strong, it is perfect if you do not like much the idea of tropical smell.

Another advantage of this brand is that its product packaging are earth friendly enviromentally.

I got the shampoo at Costco it is  750 ml. But you can also get it at Walmart and other supermarkets or pharmacies but I think only smaller presentations.

There is not only  coconut oil there are different ingredients and also have creams and other hair products.

How to treat split ends

One of the biggest problems all women who loves having a long hair has are the awful split ends!!

Honestly, I hate going to get my hair cut because every time I ask them to cut just the ends they end up cutting too much.

There are lots of chemicals in the products that we use, the heat of the flat iron, all of that damage the hair. Going to the beach, the bleach of the pool leaves our hair dry, with split ends and looking all dull.

But i have one home remedy that I love to: a homemade hair mask. 

It’s really easy to do and I’m sure you have all the ingredients in your kitchen. All you have to do is mix the following ingredients:

1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of coconut oil

Apply the mixture in your hair, starting in the middle of your hair all the way down. Leave it there for 20 to 30 minutes after that rinse with water and wash your hair as you will normally do

The egg yolk will make our hair healthy
The honey will prevent it from being dry, and also will make our hair look shiny

The coconut oil will act as a moisturizer on the hair and will prevent hair loss

These 3 ingredients together will repair and hydrate the hair leaving it healthy, shiny and soft

It has happened that  suddenly your head starts to get very itchy  and you feel the need to scratch all the time?
Believe it or not this happens quite often to a lot of girls and boys, do not worry about it doesnt mean you have lice !!

With all products with schemical and the constant use of the dryer, irons and other things we put in our hair, the scalp dries, irritates and feels itchy, and the worst thing we can do at this time is scratching head, as only irritates it more.

Do not worry, because there is a solution and here I share an easy, fast and economical way to do it, possibly with ingredients that you have at home.

You need:
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1tablespoon of almond oil or sweet almond oil

Heat  in a pan a little water on the stove, inside of it place another small container preferably glass one.
Put the coconut oil until completely melted, once is melted add the olive oil and almond oil till is completely mix.

Leave it for a moment that the mixture is hot but not boiling !!

Remove from heat and let it cool, the mixture should be slightly warm so you do not burn, with your fingertips apply the mixture on your scalp to the massaging  in circular motions very gently.

You can tie your hair into a ponytail or put a shower cap.  Leave it on about 30 minutes and then wash your hair normally with shampoo and conditioner.

Repeat this mask once a week.

From the very first application you will notice changes, not only lessen the itch, also your hair will look much more moist and soft.
